Reminiscent of the 60s. From 1968 until the beginning of 1969, Prof. Luigi Colani was employed as in-house designer at Kusch+Co. The seating he designed in this period appeals with its unique use of organic forms. His creations still hold the same fascination today as they did back then. His legendary lounger TV-relax as well as the matching easy chair enjoyed a renaissance since their relaunch.

The native-born Berliner has exerted a strong influence on the international design scene like no one before.
He studied aerodynamics at the Sorbonne in Paris and completed his training in California before returning to Europe in 1968. He refers to his organic design language as biodesign.
He has designed for many well-known manufacturers, like Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, VW, BMW and Kusch+Co. He always had close ties with the company and the Kusch family.
